Here at papa Del’s, we take pride in being able to provide you with only the finest quality produce, which is why all of our dough is prepared daily on the premises and only 100% mozzarella cheese is used to make our authentic Italian pizzas. It’s also why each one of our pasta sauces are homemade so you can be sure you are getting only fresh, tasty ingredients every time. Our fruits and vegetables are locally sourced and the things that make our food really special are imported directly from Italy, resulting in nothing but simple, delicious dishes.

Specialties: Our restaurant reflects the food we serve and who we are. The environment is simple, fun, quirky, comfortable and authentic. For example, we’ve renovated the property to expose the original Victorian floorboards, brickwork and added an Asian-inspired mural.

The menu at KIN has been specially selected based on recipes passed down from our parents, acquired through our travels or adapted from the many cook books we have collected over the years. We don’t believe in compromising on taste and that’s why you’ll find that many of our dishes are made in-house. For example, our potstickers, hoisin duck rolls and wonton dumplings are all individually hand wrapped.

To complement the food, we’ve carefully selected drinks that deliver on quality from the different types of artisan oriental teas we serve to the superb wines we stock. We’ve personally tasted and hand-picked every drink on the menu.

Specialties: Arancina is an Italian pizzeria. Our “pizza alla pala” is the most popular product, but also the home-made risotto balls (arancinas) are what make us unique. Haven’t been here yet? What are you waiting for? Come in, You’ll love it! Established in 2006. Arancina was started by the Mortari family: Massimo, Michele and Edoardo. Their idea was to open a café/restaurant that served fresh food as you would taste in their own city, Rome, the Holy City.

Why not share such a wonderful treasure of delicious recipes? “Detto, fatto!”, as the Italian saying goes; no sooner said, than done! London was the chosen city, Notting Hill the perfect spot!

But which name to give this little corner of Italy in London? “Pizza”? Too obvious! “La cucina della nonna”? True to the place’s soul, but then you might be afraid of grandma running out of the kitchen brandishing her wooden spoon if you misbehaved …”Arancina”? Oh yeah, fresh, young and simple! The name of the risotto ball was the perfect one!

Since they opened in 2006, they have introduced a different level of catering: cornetti, pizza alla pala, salads, pastas, etc. Everything is perfectly chosen, prepared, and cooked to bring you the true flavours of Rome and Sicily.

Poppies’ owner, Pat ‘Pops’ Newland, has been serving fish and chips in the East End for over 50 years, during which time he has maintained the recipe for original, traditional, healthy fish and chips.

Our menu includes delicious fresh fish cooked in crunchy batter, served with golden chips and sides like classic mushy peas, buttered bread, and salad. And ofcourse, no East End chippie would be complete without jellied eel!
Our sustainably caught fish, prepared on the premises by our onsite fishmonger, originates from Peterhead and is delivered daily from Billingsgate Market.

We’re all about vintage, and apart from classics like fruit salad sweets, cloudy apple juice and sticky toffee pudding, you’ll enjoy the 1940s/50s memorabilia collected by Pops himself.

If you’re in a rush, we’ll give you your food to take away in traditional newsprint boxes or cones.

Avoid queueing. Book now Established in 2012. Poppies in Spitalfields was opened in 2012, by Pat ‘Pop’ Newland, who had worked in the fish and chips business the East End of London for over 50 years. The restaurant combines traditional East End values with high quality, locally and sustainably-sourced food.

Following the success of the restaurant, a second branch was opened in Camden.
The restaurant was named the UK’s Best Independent Fish and Chip Restaurant, 2014 in the National Fish and Chip Awards – and was a finalist in the Marketing Innovation category for the same awards – the only restaurant in the South East to reach this stage.
