Stop by any weekday or Sunday for a culinary treat that will leave your taste buds overjoyed! Established in 1990. Old Orange Cafe & Catering Co. was founded by Susan and Terry Childers in April of 1990. Susan’s hard work and dedication made the cafe a hot spot for local diners for years. After graduation from Sam Houston State University with a BS in Business Administration, Orange native David C. Claybar attended The Art Institute of Houston to pursue a culinary arts degree. Knowing that he wanted to return to his hometown and pursue a career in the restaurant industry, David approached Susan about a job. Following the first year under Susan’s wing, an aggrement was reached and David purchased the cafe in January of 2004. Since that time there have been significant changes to both the decor and menu. Old Orange Cafe has also expanded its catering services to include the greater Houston and Lake Charles areas and is capable of feeding groups in excess of 2000!
