Ali and Cemal, two friends from Hackney, opened 215 Hackney in 2019. They grew up in the area and wanted to bring their Middle Eastern background to the local food scene.

Specialties: We are full service restaurant. Established in 1991. We started out as Ruby’s restaurant in Lafayette la. On Eraste Landry rd. Then about a year or so later opened the second one on Kaliste Saloom rd. Then a year later opened number 3 on Rue Louis XIV. After 22 years sold the property and semi retired. 5 and a half years later opened what is know Tim’s kitchen(Ruby’s 4) at 1000 Albertson pkwy in Broussard la. Creole Cajun soul food. Grand ma’s cooking
