The popularity of Fait Maison’s food enabled them to establish a thriving outside catering business which draws customers in from all over London and out as far as the Home Counties. Corporate clients include the BBC, Gucci group, Innocent, Citadel Group, City Group, Debenhams and Ealing Town Hall.
A further three London branches have been established: Ravenscourt Park, W6; Goldhawk Road, W12; Gloucester Road, SW7. Each branch is very popular locally, drawing in customers from local businesses as well as families and locals who love the constantly good food while looking for excellent service at the same time.

There was a big flow of immigrants that came to this country. Mr Bertaux set up Maison Bertaux and it must have been the first French patisserie in the UK.
Mr Bertaux would bake downstairs, the family would live upstairs and above that a tailor and a “lady of the night”.
In 1909 Mr Bertaux advertised for someone else to take over the business. Mr Vinyard came and later Michele Wade started as a Saturday girl for his son.
