About Tollington The Public House

Specialties: The Tollington is one of Islington’s (North London) most prestigious award winning bars, voted ‘Best Bar None’ and ‘Best Arsenal Pub for the 2012/13 season, as voted by Gooner readers’
Located next door to the Emirates stadium, the home of Arsenal football club, 5 minutes’ walk between the Victoria and Piccadilly tube stations at Finsbury Park and Holloway Road respectively.
The Tollington has a superb outside area for al fresco dining and drinking, with warm patio heating in cooler weather, ideal for people watching
Function bookings are available
Superb home cooked food including Sunday roasts, along with a fabulous Thai food fusion, makes the Tollington a very popular dining location for lunchtimes and dinner, plus all day at weekends. The kitchen holds an esteemed 5 star food hygiene award for its catering.
8 giant plasma TV screens showing every major sporting event, including every live football game screened here from English and European games. Established in 2006. Sharing it’s opening night with the Emirates stadium grand opening and Dennis Berkamp’s testimonial, The Tollington was opened in 2006.

Since then The Tollington has become a home for Arsenal fans to come meet & socialise before and after match days.

In 2008 the pub won the ‘Islington Best Bar None’ award and was voted ‘best Arsenal pub in 2012/13’ by gooner readers.

The pub has also hosted book launches for Arseblog’s books ‘so paddy got up’ and ‘together’ along with ‘Geordie on the wing’ written by Dave Seager.

Along with serving great drinks, one of the other keys to the pubs success has been the Thai kitchen. Run by the same family since opening, the al fresco dining has proven to be a huge success.
